Many people find the Christmas Holiday season to be a difficult time of year. The days are very short and the nights seem to last forever. Those who have lost loved ones, or are away from home, or looking for work, or overwhelmed by problems often find it difficult to join in the joy of the season. This service provides a time and space to acknowledge our pain, loneliness, and sorrow, and to remind ourselves of the sign of hope, the Holy Child of Bethlehem.
